PAUL CORNELL - FOUNDER
JOB APPLICATION INTEGRITY PROJECT

Paul Cornell has worked in recruiting for more than 35 years and has interviewed thousands of job seekers while working with employers across a wide range of industries.

His experience has provided a firsthand view of both sides of the hiring process: the emotional and financial challenges people can experience while looking for work, and the increasing difficulty employers face protecting their brands, controlling their application paths, and ensuring qualified candidates actually reach them.

Paul founded the Job Application Integrity Project after seeing a growing number of problems involving confusing online application experiences, employer impersonation, unauthorized job distribution, misleading recruiting activity, and uncertainty about where applicant information ultimately goes.

He also believes strongly in the value of authorized, reputable recruiters, job boards, advertising partners, aggregators, search engines, staffing firms, and recruiting technology providers. JAIP was created to encourage greater transparency and accountability without limiting responsible job distribution.
